Kidd in a Sweet Shop (KiaSS) was created to redefine automotive entertainment. We access the world’s greatest cars, the most recognisable people and tell the most engaging and compelling stories.

We are differentiated by the quality of our content, the production values of every episode, the experience, knowledge and approach that Jodie provides and our drive to create not only magical episodes but a very profitable and valuable business. After a meteoric first few months of the channel, we are even more confident that we’re building the next major automotive media network.

Within the remainder of 2022, we will grow our YouTube subscriber-based to over 250,000, launch our own iOS and Android dedicated App, drive Instagram to 100,000 followers and launch across TikTok and local market social platforms in key territories. 


Available: Head of Growth

You will lead all aspects of growth (audience, reach and revenue) for the channel. You will report directly to the three founders, Adam, Chris & Jodie. You will play an active and influential role in decisions around the content schedule & priorities, as well as the cadence and platforms for delivery.

You will work closely with the production, editing and community management teams to ensure continuity of activity and an aligned direction behind your growth requirements. You will use analytics data and audience insights to support our decision making and strategy.

Deliverables:

  • Sponsorship – The channel is now inundated with inbound sponsor request. You will manage these offers, determine their priority, as well as create a sponsorship strategy and pricing model. You will proactively target an agreed list of potential partners and establish a program that drives £100,000 in revenue per annum in YR1, doubling year-on-year from paid partners. This will be achieved without any dilution of content quality and integrity. 
  • Audience – You will help drive the on-going growth in our audience and subscribers. Achieving 250,000 subscribers by end 2022 and doubling year-on-year from there. This will be achieved via paid marketing, cross-promotion, influencer and brand partnerships. You will also develop strategies to extend our platform reach into areas such as TikTok
  • Merchandise & Ancillary Monetisation – You will build tangential revenue streams into the business, including merchandise and event activation.
  • Advertising – You will optimise and scale our Youtube (and other platform) adverting revenue.
  • Localisation – You will build strategies that broaden our reach into new markets. Including the potential to audio dub and translate content and also invite and engage high profile guests and influencers from important markets.
  • The App – You will support the launch, marketing and growth of the KiaSS mobile App on iOS and Android. Adding this to the sponsorship and partner offering, once live.

Experience:

We’re looking for someone with a wealth of both passion and proven experience in this space. Evidence of growth and strategy development in a relevant media network. Ideally someone who also has a passion for all things automotive and a pre-existing network of relationships in the industry.
